Peter Jensen – Founder
Peter Jensen is the founder of America Approved Energy Services Direct, LLC (AAESD) and plays an active role in the development & motivation of the AAESD sales force.
Peter, knows something about teamwork. He grew up playing football and enjoyed a successful college career as quarterback for Iona College in New York. Peter seized the moment and became a free agent in the National Football League - playing short stints with the New York Jets and the New York Giants. From there he was given the opportunity to play professionally in Europe and finally finished his football career in the Arena Football League.
After his playing days were over, Peter focused his attention on Sales & Marketing and went on to produce, write and direct the longest running infomercial in the history of television - The Perfect Swing Trainer/Sam 2000. This golf training device was so successful that it went on to gross over $100 million in sales!
After leaving his mark on the world of T.V., Peter then joined corporate America as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a leading software provider, where he had front row seats to the world of Direct Marketing. While selling software to companies trying to break into the Direct Marketing field, Peter saw a chance to get back on the field by building highly motivated successful sales teams/organizations. Peter has been credited with building sales teams numbering in the hundreds of thousands all across the world.

Scott Turner – CEO/COO
Scott Turner is the CEO/COO of America Approved Energy Services Direct, LLC. In his role, he heads up consultant recruiting, training, market research and competitive intelligence. He brings an in-depth knowledge of recruiting, business operations and the application of quality systems to streamline operations.
Before joining America Approved Energy Services Direct, Scott was the COO and co-founder of Control Center, LLC, a large manufacturing company that is a major supplier of large complex systems for the electric utility industry. Under his leadership, he managed growth of sales from 6 million to over 70 million in fewer than 18 months. His company was a Tier 1 supplier to both Siemens and GE during the combustion turbine power plant construction boom that started in late 1999. He streamlined operations and directed the ISO9001 and Six Sigma quality programs that made the rapid growth possible. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt and delivered $800,000 in document cash savings the first year of the six-sigma program.
In 2004, after 25 years with the company, Scott left the company in the capable hands of his brother and joined a startup internet employment company as CMO. There he built and trained a marketing team of over 500 independent employment recruiters in six months.
Scott is an expert in direct marketing, sales force automation, quality systems, internet research and has an extensive background in the energy market. He has a passion for developing efficient and effective business solutions that reduces costs while solving real life business issues.
Deborah Sellick – Executive Office Manager
Deborah Sellick is our Executive Office Manager. She plays a key role in the daily management and operations of our main headquarters located in Fort Myers, Florida.
She comes to us from Vision Quest Holdings, where she managed multiple complex limited liability companies. While employed with an off shore holdings company she enhanced her knowledge of office management, people management, and the ability to lead a company in a productive manner.
Deborah moved to Fort Myers in 2005 after attending Tiffin University for Business Management, with a minor in Marketing. Along with the main business management courses, she also focused heavily on Human Resource Management.
She was raised in a family owned business that was growing just as fast as she was. Anderson Company Woodworking & Packaging went from a single employee, small garage business, to a multiple employee company that distributes throughout the US and Mexico. Growing up in a family owned business has given her the knowledge to help her succeed in the business world.
She now resides in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband.
Brandy Barber – Customer Service Manager
Brandy Barber serves as the Customer Service Manager for America Approved Energy Services Direct. Mrs. Barber’s role is the development and growth of the call center that supports all of the AAESD energy consultants. She also provides support for Executive Management.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, she began her career as a Mechanical Engineer for General Motors Corporation in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
In 2003 Brandy was intrigued by sales and marketing within automotive dealerships and it’s unlimited potential. She quickly grew from a sales associate to management, and was then recruited to work for LaFontaine Automotive Group, one of the top domestic car dealers in the world.
Prior to joining AAESD, Brandy developed, trained, and managed both the Business Development Center and eCommerce Departments for LaFontaine Automotive Group. She contributed to positioning the company as the #1 largest Buick Pontiac GMC automotive dealership in the world.
Brandy prides herself on superior customer service and lives by the motto: Under-Promise and Over-Deliver.
Scott Kelly – Directory of Social Media
Scott Kelly is excited to bring his knowledge and enthusiasm to America Approved Energy Services Direct, as The Director of Social Media.
Scott started his career in the automotive industry in Chicago with S&S Automotive, the largest aftermarket automotive dealership supplier in the country working as a cellular technician, certified by Motorola and Nokia. Scott quickly moved up the ranks into sales where he handled the development of reinsurance programs for automotive dealerships through CNA insurance for the Midwest region.
In his entrepreneurial spirit, Scott, along with his father, saw an opportunity in the automotive industry to up fit state of the art technological equipment into police and emergency vehicles, thus starting the business P.D.S. (Police Department Services LLC). As director of sales, Scott helped quickly grow the family business to what is now one of the most profitable up fitter of police and emergency vehicles in the country.
During this time Scott met his wife and assisted her in her in a lifelong dream of owning and operating Seven Seas Tan Spa & Swimwear LLC. Tanning spa and other retail facilities throughout the Chicago land area. After consecutive years of top recognition and exceeding industry standards, Scott sold the chain of stores for a substantial profit and moved his family Ft. Myers Florida.
Once in Florida, Scott found himself back in sales, joining the Ford Galloway family sales team that was ranked 1st and 2nd nationally . Scott also continued his education becoming a licensed mortgage broker and capitalizing on the “boom” in real estate happening in S.W. Florida at the time.
Scott has firsthand experience and a proven track record to start companies and take them to their highest level of excellence in their field. Throughout the years Scotts Midwest hard working values and open door policy has helped him earn the reputation of “Making Things Happen!”
Angela Mitrisin – Research and Compliance
Angela provides the company with product and energy information used to promote the AMA Nation’s commitment to the environment. She also monitors the integrity of the AMA Nation’s web presence to assure constant and ongoing compliance.
After receiving a B.A. from Rollins College in Environmental Studies in Winter Park, FL, she worked as an environmental planner and for several not-for-profit environmental conservation organizations.
Just prior to joining AMA Direct, Angela worked in the Commercial Energy Consulting business where she developed a firm understanding of energy deregulation, energy markets, rates & trends."
